Volunteers are vital

Volunteers are a vital resource in all areas of the programs, services, and governance of the Centre. Volunteers provide significant amounts of in-kind support each year. Their time and expertise has helped make the Centre into what it is today and what it will become tomorrow.

Iramoo Community Centre has structured and on-going volunteer roles as well as one off and casual roles. These positions may suit someone with established skills and experience, but also someone wanting to gain experience or develop their skills.

Some of the identified volunteer roles include:

Administration Support

Answering phones and enquiries at reception desk, recording incoming and outgoing mail, prepare class lists and other administrative support.

Commitee of Management

Contribute to the strategic planning and governance of the organisation. Specific Committee of Management roles include President, Secretary, Treasurer and General members.

Gardener

Assist with growing and maintaining our community garden.

Holiday Program Assistants

Assist with the running of our Children’s Holiday Program
